This Father’s Day, Bug Country 99.7 & 101.1 is giving one lucky dad the ultimate backyard upgrade — a brand-new ride on mower!

Here’s How To Qualify

Starting June 1st 2026, listeners will need to tune in to Bug Country weekdays between 6AM – 5PM.

When you hear the special “Dad Starting a Mower” sounder:

• Be the 5th caller to qualify instantly for the grand prize event.
• Can’t get through on the phones? Don’t worry — there’s another way to qualify. We’ll also randomly select 15 additional qualifiers from online entries submitted through our website.

All qualifiers will move on to the Grand Prize Drawing Event on June 20th.

The Grand Prize Showdown

Here’s where things get fun.

The live showdown event will happen on June 20th and will be broadcast live by Bug Country. During the event:

• Each qualified dad will climb onto the ride on mower and ride around a designated course.
• The mower will continue running until they run out of gas.
• The LAST dad still riding wins the brand-new mower!

It’s simple, hilarious, competitive, and very country. Dad’s will get a number at random based on check in time at the live broadcast.

Official Rules

• No purchase necessary.
• Must be 18 years of age or older to qualify.
• One qualifier per household.
• Qualifiers selected on-air must meet all eligibility requirements.
• Online qualifiers will be randomly selected from eligible website entries.
• All qualifiers MUST be present at the live event on June 20th to participate.
• If a qualifier is not present when called to participate, they will forfeit their chance to compete.
• The last participant still operating the mower after it runs out of gas will be declared the winner.
• Prizes may not be sold and are non-transferable; no cash substitution will be offered.
