Ride Into Relay
The Madison County Relay for Life is sponsoring a Motorcycle Ride. We will meet at the Munnsville American Legion Post #54 at 6311 E Hill Rd in Munnsville. It will be a 2-3 hour ride through scenic Madison County, stopping for lunch and arriving at RFL at Oneida High School @1:30 pm, in time for opening ceremony at 2. $15/rider; $10/passenger. Bark For Life of Otsego County
Bark For Life is a fundraising event for dogs and their families to raise money and awareness for The Relay for Life walk. There will be lots of fun activities including; a dog show, K9 demos, dancing, vendors, ice cream, popcorn, concessions and games for both kids and dogs. Registration is $20 for one dog and handler. Regatta On Lake Oneida
Sailors and spectators alike will be setting a course for Oneida Lake for a J/24 Class District 7 Pennant Series Regatta. The two-day, five-race event is sponsored by the Oneida Lake Sailing Club and will set sail from Callahan’s and Oneida Lake Marinas on the southeast corner of the lake off NY Route 31. Racing on the eastern end of Oneida Lake will be visible from North and South Bay as well as the Verona and Sylvan Beach areas.

Cancer survivors, caregivers, sponsors, teams and community members will come together for the American Cancer Society 11th annual Relay For Life of Madison County. This year's American Cancer Society Relay For Life of Madison County hopes to raise over $100,000 for cancer research and programs that help cancer patients. MCSPCA Kids Poster and Writing Contest
In connection with its upcoming 12th annual Dog Walk-a-Thon, the
Montgomery County SPCA is sponsoring the “Be Kind to Animals Poster and Writing Contest”. The contest is for 1st through 8th grade students in Montgomery County. Each grade has a specific “humane” theme to draw or write about. All entries are due in by May 28. Winners will be announced at the Dog Walk–a-Thon on May 31 at Shuttleworth Park in Amsterdam.
