Saturday Hours for MVCC admissions

MVCC is opening the Admissions office on its Utica campus to make scheduling for the spring 2014 semester easier for prospective students who may not be able to get to the office during regular business hours. Walk-ins are welcome but to register or find out more email

Explore Winter Traditions at Fort Stanwix

Join the Backyard Rangers program at Fort Stanwix National Monument to explore the winter traditions of the Oneida Indians. There is no cost and reservations are not necessary.

Hamilton College Arboretum free workshops

The Hamilton College Arboretum will present free workshops through May on the Hamilton Campus. This workshop will focus on Landscaping Assets and Liabilities of 13 tree species.

Benefit for Bonnie Sweet

Come join us at the St. Johnsville Community House for a benefit for Bonnie Sweet. There will be Basket Raffles, Chinese Auction, 50/50 Raffle and Ziti Dinner. Tickets are $10 Adult, $5 Kid or $25 Family Pass (2 Adults 3 Kids) Bonnie suffers from a rare condition that has caused a tumor to grow in her paranasal sinus. Any support would be greatly appreciated.

Snowtrails Chicken BBQ in Deerfield

Come join us for the Deerfield Snowtrails Chicken Barbecue. It's the major fundraiser of the season and is open to the public. Dinners are $10.00. They’ll also have a bake sale and coffee and drinks are available.
