||The Herkimer County Historical Society is sponsoring a Thousand Islands Winery Bus Trip to visit the Thousand Islands Winery and Coyote Moon Vineyards with an afternoon stop in Alexandria Bay for sight-seeing and lunch. ||Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Fundraiser
||Handmade items donated by Professional Crafters and Artisans from all across New York State will be raffled off at this event to raise funds for the American Cancer Society. There will also be a bake sale of homemade goodies. All proceeds will be donated to the American Cancer Society's Making Strides program.
This event will be held in conjunction with the Craft Sale Extravaganza by The Crafty Ladies at the Laubenthal residence on Shelly Place in North Utica. Follow the yellow and red signs located through out North Utica the week of the event.

||Herkimer Defensive Driving Course
||Herkimer County Clerk Sylvia M. Rowan is offering the six-hour Defensive Driving Course to Herkimer County residents and non-residents through the Herkimer County Clerk’s Office.The course is will be held at the 911 Building, 71 Reservoir Road, near the HCCC Campus. Enrollment is on a first come basis. Payment is $35.00 and includes all books and materials. You will be enrolled when payment is received. So enroll early. Upon completion of the classroom training, participants are eligible for a reduction in New York State Points and Insurance.

||The Taste of History is a celebration of regional cooking and the sharing favorite recipes. Attendees are able to sample all the soup and pie they care to eat while enjoying the beautiful grounds of Old Fort Johnson.
Adult admission is $20.00 and children admission is $10 which includes a burgundy Old Fort Johnson soup mug to take home. Seating is limited and advance tickets are encouraged.
