Weeks after Hurricane Sandy swept across the East Coast, there's still plenty of rebuilding to be done. Join in on our relief effort to help the thousands of people affected by Hurricane Sandy get the support and supplies they desperately need after being hit by this natural disaster. Please Donate anything you can. We will be delivering to Belle Harbor Yacht Club and the Rockaway Rotary Club, Belle Harbor, NY on January 5th. Please Drop off any items at Glove Cities Veterinary Hospital, Ruby & Quiri or Grandma Millie’s Bakery during their regular business hours, from now through January 2nd. Everyday Supplies Still Needed in Belle Harbor, Long Island o Baby Food, formula and diapers o Non-perishable food o Bottled water o Toiletries o New clothes, especially mittens, scarves, warm jackets for all ages o New beds, cots, linens and pillows o Cleaning supplies o Batteries, flashlights o Non-fabric furniture (no sofas or upholstered chairs o Gift cards to Lowe’s, Wal-Mart, Home Depot, Target or any other universal gift cards. o NO USED CLOTHING OF ANY TYPE BUILDING SUPPLIES NEEDED: NEW! GED Adult Education Classes

HFM BOCES will host a two part orientation and screening session for GED Adult Education classes the week of January 2nd. Morning, afternoon and evening sessions will be held at Amsterdam Literacy Zone in the Riverfront Center and Gloversville Literacy Zone on North Main Street Gloversville.
