  All Day Bus Trip - Christmas Show at Radio City Music Hall   Plan ahead for a great Christmas Gift.... The St Johnsville Chamber of Commerce is sponsoring a bus trip to the Christmas Show at Radio City Music Hall. Trip includes Bus transportation, Ticket to show and time to shop or sightsee. Cost of the trip is $110.00

  All Day Hurricane Sandy Benefit   Limbo Bar and Grill, 46 Forest Street. Gloversville. 4pm-2am. Keelie Sheridan, a former Miss Brooklyn and 4th Runner-Up at Miss New York, had her home and all of her belongings destroyed by the storm surge caused by Hurricane Sandy. Unfortunately, she did not have renter’s insurance and is now forced to relocate. Keelie actively supports and participates in the local arts community while maintaining strong connections in Miss America local and state organizations. Keelie, an avid volunteer, has raised hundreds of dollars for the Children’s Miracle Network, and brought permanent sponsors and appearances to the local titles she has represented. She has mentored her own sisters as well as her pageant sisters, and finished in the Top Five at the Miss New York Pageant. This event, full of live music, drink specials, raffles and other entertainment is my way of helping a dear friend. Please help. A $10.00 donation is asked, but every little bit helps.
 
  10:00AM 5:00PM Thanksgiving Traditions at the Farmers' Museum   Discover how rural New Yorkers celebrated Thanksgiving in the 1840s. See traditional Thanksgiving foods prepared over the open hearth. Look in on the heritage-breed turkeys of all ages: poults, teenagers, hens and toms. See their unusual turkey house and its historic wattle design. Ride the Empire State Carousel, or just enjoy a peaceful walk around the museum's historic village.
 
  9:00AM 5:00PM Stuff the Horse Trailer!   Jack's Turf Goods in Vernon is teaming up with the Peek and Boo Animal rescue and Gary Johnson to stuff a horse trailer FULL of donations to deliver to animal shelters devastated downstate by Superstorm Sandy. We are collecting dog and cat food, cat litter, litter pans, scoops, bowls, bleach, paper towels etc.. We will be taking donations from 9-5 everyday from Saturday November 17 until Saturday Nov 24 (excluding Thanksgiving). Help us fill a horse trailer (or more!!) !
