"Take Root" Training for Garden Educators

From 9:00AM to 3:00PM

Cornell Cooperative Extension of Oneida County is hosting “Take Root” Training for Garden Educators . The cost of attendance will be $15 which includes lunch and handout materials. The training will be held at the Oneida County Cooperative Extension, 121 Second Street in Oriskany.

The ‘Take Root’ Training is open to educators and youth workers interested in, or already implementing, garden- based learning into their work. The training will cover; develop an intentional, long-term approach to garden-based programs, and expand existing programs. Using a logic model as a tool, we introduce methods to create project sustainability. Groups with an existing garden program hoping to expand and increase project sustainability are a good fit for this session.

Pre-registration is required by contacting Jeanette Lewis, 4-H Assistant at 736-3394 ext. 108 by September 28th.
