Crafty Ladies Linda Laubenthal, Ellen Valeriano, and Kathy Peters will hold their 7th annual arts and crafts sale on August 24-26. In addition to the many unique items for sale, there will be an arts and crafts raffle and bake sale with proceeds benefitting the American Cancer Society's Making Strides Against Breast Cancer.
The event will be held on Shelly Place in North Utica. Those wishing to attend should follow the yellow and red signs along Herkimer Road. Event hours are noon to 5 pm on Friday, 10 am to 5 pm on Saturday, and noon to 5 pm on Sunday.
Embroidery Designs by Ellen will offer handcrafted, embroidered and crocheted kitchen and hand towels for all occasions - plus a large selection of dog and cat embroidered towels, embroidered, tapestry and other fabric pillows (a selection of smaller pillows just for the kids), bookmarks, tissueholders, placemats, wall hangings and more.
Knits and Bits by Linda will offer Hanging Kitchen Hand Towels, Nylon Scrubbies, Gift sets for the kitchen, Hand Knit/Hand Crocheted Fashion Scarves, and Knitted Christmas Stockings
Kathys Quills will have a variety of framed quilling art of all themes and sizes. Frames are both hanging and table tops. Kathy also accepts custom orders.
Raffle Items from several members of New York Crafters from across the state have been donated for the raffle. Local members of the group will also provide baked goods for sale.
A portion of all sales plus proceeds from the raffle and bake sale benefit the local American Cancer Society's Making Strides Against Breast Cancer event.
