The 20th annual Fort Klock Pioneer program will help children explore, experience, and celebrate history. This three day educational program is designed to offer children ages 9 through 13 a colonial adventure.
Through hands-on activities children will experience lifestyles and tasks from the colonial period. Some of these activities include candle making, spinning and weaving, cooking and playing 18th century games. They always enjoy playing dress-up in colonial outfits. Children also visit the blacksmith shop and Fort Klock's one room school house. This program offers valuable lessons about the early Mohawk Valley pioneers.
Only 20 students are accepted. Please call (518)568-7779 to register before July 23. There will be a small fe for this program.
