Abraham House has a call out for singers 5-18 years old for their\r\nfundraiser called “Singing Sensations” Talent Show. The talent show will be held on Friday, August 10, 6:30 p.m. at Mohawk Valley Community College Theater, Information Technology & Conference Building, 1101 Sherman Drive, Utica. Auditions \r\nwill be held Saturday, July 14 at MVCC from 10 a.m.–1:00 p.m. at the Information Technology & Conference Building Room 225 (second floor). Instead of attending the audition, children can also submit a CD by mail or drop off by Wednesday, July 11 to Abraham House, 1203 Kemble Street, Utica, NY 13501. If a child has a YouTube video link, families can Email the YouTube video link to: info@theabrahamhouse.org. \r\n\r\nThere is no entrance fee for contestants. Prizes will be awarded. Tickets for the “Singing Sensations” Talent Show are $10.00 and $5.00 for children 18 and under. The public will be able to vote for their favorite singers. The Johnson Hall State Historic is a free event, rain or shine. Donations to support the event will be accepted.

Period performances by “Otto the Sword Swallower” and magician “Mr. Bayly”, a traditional 18th century Cricket match, sutlers, period music and dance, military-encampment, colonial toys and games, food, 18th life demonstrations, Open House and much more! Parking is at the Johnstown High School.

This is a 4 player captain and crew golf Scramble. Cost is $60 per player and includes prizes, entry into contests and a picnic buffett after the event.
